Acknowledgement of Risk

I understand that participation in goat yoga, farm visits, animal interactions, and outdoor recreational activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• Physical activity and exercise-related injuries
• Interaction with animals that may bite, scratch, jump, or step on participants
• Uneven terrain, mud, rocks, holes, or natural farm hazards
• Exposure to weather, insects, and allergens
• Risk of falling or loss of personal property

It is the participants responsibilty to ensure the instructor is fully informed prior to class of any and all known allergens. All known allergens should be listed in the comment box within the liability waiver at the time of registration. If any changes should occur after registration, it is the participant’s responsibility to inform the instructor immediately.

Animal Interaction Acknowledgment

I understand that goats and other farm animals are unpredictable and may react unexpectedly. I agree to follow all staff instructions regarding animal handling and behavior.

I understand that animals may:

• Jump or climb
• Nibble or bump participants
• Cause minor scratches or bruising
• Shed

Behavior Policy

To ensure a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable experience for all participants (both human and goat!), we kindly ask that everyone follow the guidelines below:

• Participant Conduct
  • All guests must treat animals, instructors, and fellow participants with kindness and respect.
  • Rough handling, chasing, grabbing, or picking up goats is strictly prohibited.
  • Follow all instructor directions at all times for safety purposes.
  • Disruptive, aggressive, or inappropriate behavior will result in removal from the session without refund.
• Children
  • Children must meet the minimum age requirement (if applicable).
  • Minors must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.
  • Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring children interact gently and appropriately with the animals.
• Animal Safety & Welfare
  • Our goats’ well-being is our top priority.
  • Do not feed the goats unless instructed.
  • Be mindful of sudden movements or loud noises that may startle the animals.
  • If a goat jumps on you, remain calm and follow instructor’s guidance.
• Attire & Personal Belongings
  • Wear comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting a little dirty.
  • Remove dangling jewelry that could pose a risk to the goats.
  • We are not responsible for personal items that may be nibbled on or damaged.
• Health & Safety
  • Participants should wash or sanitize hands before and after class.
  • Anyone appearing ill may be asked to reschedule.
  • Closed-toe shoes are recommended when not on your mat.

Refund / Cancellation Policy

Late arrival policy; Weather cancellation terms

We understand that plans can change! Please review our policy below before booking your Goat Yoga experience.

Cancellations by Participants

• Cancellations made 48 hours or more prior to your scheduled class will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to a future session.
• Cancellations made within 24–48 hours of the class are eligible for a class credit only.
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the class are non-refundable and not eligible for credit.
• No-shows will not receive a refund or credit.

Rescheduling

• Participants may reschedule one time with at least 48 hours’ notice, subject to availability.
• Rescheduled bookings cannot be refunded.

Weather Policy

• In the event of severe weather or unsafe conditions, class may be rescheduled.
• If we cancel a class due to weather, participants will receive the option of a full refund or credit toward a future class.

Cancellations by Organizer

We reserve the right to cancel a session due to low enrollment, unforeseen circumstances, or safety concerns. If we cancel a class, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another session.

Late Arrivals

• Please arrive 10–15 minutes early.
• Late arrivals will not be permitted to extend their session from the time of their arrival.

Release of Liability

I hereby release, waive, and discharge Happy Hoofs LLC, its owners, employees, volunteers, instructors, and property owners from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of participation in goat yoga or farm activities, including injury, illness, property damage, or death, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by Georgia law.

Medical Authorization

I certify that I am physically capable of participating in yoga and farm activities. I agree to inform staff of any medical conditions or injuries that may affect my participation.

In the event of an emergency, I authorize staff to seek medical treatment on my behalf if necessary.

Minor Participant Release (Complete if participant is under 18)

I am the parent or legal guardian of the minor listed above. I consent to their participation and agree to all terms of this waiver on their behalf.

Participation is not recommended for children younger than 10 years old. All minors (between ages 10-18) MUST be accompanied by an adult for the entire duration of the class.

By signing this waiver, the parent or legal guardian agrees to participate in all classes that include the minor. If any minor attempts to join a class without the parent or legal guardian present, they will be asked to leave, and no refunds will be given.
